Tier List

Project: Aura Runes, Potions, and Food Tiers

The grammar of a build. Rank mix-ins by job, not by glow.

Runes Potions Food Tiers

Characters are the verbs in Project: Aura. Runes, potions, and food are the grammar. Dev posts called out a crafting layer with 50+ potions, not a single flask shop. Rival Ducks put all three mix-ins in the same sentence as build crafting, which is a hint that they are not side shops. This page ranks those mix-ins as jobs the same way the character tier list ranks bodies.

Buy from merchants, print them from exploration or the upgrade tree, and spend Prism from codes here before you buy more tickets.

S-tier mix-ins — portable grammar

Always-on food. If it stays active while you walk and roll, it is S. Incremental games are won by uptime, not by a potion you forgot to press during a lucky animation.

Runes that socket on more than one job. A rune that only works on one specialist body is A at best. A rune that still makes sense after Friday’s character drop is S.

Potions with a named moment. “I drink this before a targeted lucky roll” or “I drink this before a cavern loop” is S. “I drank it because the icon bounced” is C.

A-tier mix-ins — specialists

Tree-synergy runes. Powerful if you already bought the matching upgrade node. Dead if you did not. Buy the node first or skip the rune.

Merchant-only potions with a timer. Good when you are about to explore. Bad as a plaza flex. A-tier if you can schedule them. B if they expire in the bag because you were rolling.

Food that only buffs rolling. Fine on a ticket night. Useless on a tree night. Match it to the session planner job.

B-tier mix-ins — glow

Screenshot effects. Particles on the village deck. No number you can explain. Keep one if you like it. Do not empty Prism.

Near-duplicate runes. If two runes describe the same job, you own a collection piece. Slot the clearer one.

Event-looking food with no loop. Weekly content will add more. Holding a mystery snack “for later” is B. Holding ten is a storage problem.

C-tier mix-in habits

  • Auto-buying the first merchant stock after RELEASE without a composition test.
  • Drinking every potion so inventory looks clean.
  • Selling food because it is not a character.
  • Using a script to auto-buy. Read script safety.

Recipe order (repeat this)

  1. Name the character job.
  2. Equip the S-tier food you actually have.
  3. Socket one portable rune.
  4. Save potions for a named moment.
  5. Only then visit a merchant with a shopping list, not a hope.
  6. If the merchant has nothing on the list, walk away. Luck-relief may print the ingredient later. Another roll will not.

Why this list stays nameless for now

Same honesty as characters: no official public ingredient table on the Roblox page. A fake 80-row potion ladder would be fan fiction. Jobs survive weekly patches. Names will be added when they are verified in patch notes or a stable in-game index. Until then, if a streamer shouts a name, ask whether it is this game or another Aura title.

Mix-ins are how two players with the same drop diverge. Rank them like they matter, because they are the part of Project: Aura that is not a slot machine.

Food uptime as a ranking test

Time a loop. If the food dies before you reach the cavern mouth, it is not S for exploration. If it dies during a four-ticket sample, it is not S for rolling. Uptime is the test. Glow is not. When a weekly snack has a huge particle and a tiny timer, it is A at best.

Runes versus tree nodes

A rune that copies a tree node you already bought is a duplicate. Buy the node (permanent-ish) before the rune (slot, maybe swappable). If you cannot tell whether a modifier is a rune or a node, do not buy either until the UI labels are readable. Launch HUDs hide types behind icons. Controls helps you find the panels; this page tells you not to double-pay.

Potions and lucky rolls

The only S potion moment most launch players need is “before a targeted lucky ticket.” Drinking during a standard sample wastes a resource luck-relief may already be padding. Save the bottle for the hole you can name. If you cannot name the hole, you do not have a potion moment. You have a fidget.

When names are verified, they will sit under these letters. Until then, rank the mix-in you are holding with the tests above, then go back to the character page so the body and the grammar agree.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Project: Aura players on Roblox.

Should I buy runes or more rolls with Prism?

Runes and food that pass the recipe test. Tickets are last. See build crafting.

Are potions better than food?

Potions are moments. Food is uptime. Uptime usually wins incremental hybrids unless the potion is aimed.

Where do I get mix-ins?

Merchants, exploration, and possibly tree nodes. Match stock to a list.

Can I skip food if my character looks rare?

No. A rare body with empty grammar is a plaza piece, not a build.
